Cossins Windows Canada

My experience was totally positive.
I had no qualms using Cossins as they are a locally known company.
They didn’t disappoint, so much so that I decided to have them replace other windows along with my insurance claim windows.
Making decisions under stress and being forced to replace windows due to vandalism is not pleasant.
They are the window company my insurance company works with so my choice was simple.
From frontline staff to the installers, everyone goes above and beyond through the entire process.
What a transformation outside and in!

I had 3 windows scheduled to be replaced, and had taken the morning off of work to do so (since Cossins doesn't work afternoons or weekends...). They were scheduled for 7am, and when 7:30am came and went, I called Cossins to find out what was going on. To my surprise I was told that they were now coming at 9am, and they hadn't "gotten around" to calling me yet....
I then waited until 10am, before calling AGAIN. This time, I was informed that the installers had picked up the windows and supplied at 8am, and should have been there by now. Not all that helpful! Eventually they did show up, at 10:40am.

The instillation its 'self went relatively smoothly, other than one of the employees using my broken toilet on the main level (a joy to clean up once they'd left).

Cossins is good at what they do, awful at customer service and reliability.

Replaced our front door and two windows,we called four companies to get quotes. Two of the companies salesmen acted like they didn't want to be in my house and the third company was ok but some of the changes he wanted to make made no sense to me. Cossins salesman was friendly explaned why this or that would not work in our house do to its age. They where the only company that made me feel like a customer and not a quote. The crew installed the door and windows in one day ( my house is 103 years old and very crooked!) they cleaned up when they where done and even let me bug them with questions. I am very pleased with every aspect of my service from this company and will be recommending them as well as replacing the remanding doors and windows in our home with this company!!!

3 or 4 years ago we had Cossin's install 3 bedroom, one bath and one kitchen (bay window) replacements. The service was courteous, the installation occurred within the estimated time and was quick, tidy and well done. The other companies we asked to come and give us an estimate never even called us back - I presume they thought it was too small a job to bother with. We are replacing two large front room and one dining room bow window currently and did not bother getting other firms to estimate because we were so pleased with the last job. The price, we found out with the first replacements)was mid-line...not the cheapest, not the most expensive....so we saved the hassle and went back to Cossin's and again they were prompt in reply and providing an estimate. I have no problem reccomending them to family and friends. LO

We made to mistake of not getting other quotes. We paid high end price for a low quality window. $1700 for a 2m x 1.5 m with 1/3 casement and the rest picture.
Now that we're looking at getting other windows on the house replaced we've been getting multiple quotes, and the thing that other companies keep telling us is that the window is weird or you were ripped off. Now that I know better I would definitely go elsewhere. Supreme has decent windows for a good price. SIS installs really high end windows, all weathers are about the same as supreme in quality. I think we might do western windows though for the rest of the house.

Was told by salesman with fancy english accent that all would be well, it became obvious that there was no experience, thier only installer was not much better , no vision all black and white, unliscened and only a few years experience
